Malyssa grew up in Los Angeles, California, and her background in acting helped foster her love for storytelling from a young age, which later became the foundation for her career in digital marketing. As the co-founder of 4AM Studios with her husband Berkeley, Malyssa started as a content creator before fully transitioning into a social media strategy and management for both brands and creators. Together, they identified a gap between creators and brands and launched their creator-focused agency to bridge that gap with transparency and honesty.

Malyssa continues to channel her passion for content creation through her own social media, where she launched a series called "Becoming Chic." In this series, she shares her journey of becoming the woman of her dreams and encourages her audience to embrace the idea that they can wake up and choose who they want to be.
